Out here in the country, the weather is everyone’s favourite obsession. When there’s a chance we might get rain, there’s a buzz of excitement. The more rain in the forecast, the greater the buzz. We got a storm last night and 28mm of rain (I know this because we’ve got a rain gauge…. ya know, #mycountrylife).

Here’s a thunderstorm fun fact: storms (specifically the lightning) discharge nitrogen, which is added to the soil as a component of rain. So farmers  thunderstorms! Me too!
