The twelve grapes of luck

HAPPY NEW YEAR

“The twelve grapes of luck” is a Spanish tradition that dates back from 1895. The tradition consists of eating a grape with each bell strike at midnight of December 31, leading to a year of prosperity.

As it turns out, eating one grape (and swallowing it) on each bell chime, is more difficult than you would imagine.

Happy New Year to my dearest and nearest, from Spain.
